I received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario in 1987 and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto in 1989.
For nine years I taught Primary and Junior Education with the York Region District School Board and was an English as a Second Language Specialist. I completed my Ontario Securities Course in 1994.
In 1999 I began my Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management, and graduated in 2004 with my MBA. I have been married since 1991 and between 1995 and 2004 I have had four beautiful daughters.
I began In-Home Financial Services in 1998 as I recognized the need in my own family of mature people who are left alone after a death or a divorce to keep up with all the overwhelming financial organization required that their spouse used to take care of. I assisted family members, then non-family members, who do not have the time, desire or expertise to organize every piece of mail that comes to their home, but yet want to remain completely independent and in control of their finances.
My clients are well set up with professional money managers and accountants and they hire me to organize their daily and weekly financial needs to keep everything running smoothly throughout the year.
